 In IXTbase the entry name appears; in most (but not all) classes a field
 called name appears. Dickon says that not all classes have an IXTbase. We
 need to resolve this – do we want both, or only one, and then do we have
 to make sure that our choice(s) appear in all classes ? Also, the name
 should be that use in the function write(class,fio,name), or default or
 what ? Action: Freddie to arrange short meeting with Dickon and Toby to
 resolve once and for all
