 (In [1645]) Return mkgpath and existgpath to TGP's original versions
 (release 1633)
 Edit setup_instrument_dataFolders.m so that it explicitly checks if a path
 already exists, and if so, adds further directories to the beginning of
 the path.

 Revert create_dsp_from_par so that correctly calls nargin(varargin), NOT
 nargin(varargin{:}).
