 (In [1618]) refs #43
 spe class accepts the IXTdataset_2D and array of IXTdataset_1D with
 different axis though the usefulness of this is still questionable
 (missing functions)
 refs #188 modification of the hook script forcing it to work with Matlabs
 perl distributed on all existing configurations (matlab_c.vcproj)
