 I would like to use LibISIS for new software to be written for OffSpec but
 it seems that a couple of very valuable functions from GENIE appear to be
 missing or are undocumented.

 The two that I've immediately struggled to find are setpar and units.
 Having dug around a bit in the various trees of code I found
 IXMunits_utils that looks like it will do the job but it's not obvious how
 to apply this to either a 1d or 2d data set.
