 generic get command for retrieving data from a raw file
 gget(IXTraw_file,'tim1') will return time channel boundaries etc...
 lower/upper
 case keywords can be used, mgenie keywords can also be used eg.
 gget(IXTraw_file,'tchan1') also returns time channel boundaries
