 make routine to create dataset_1d, dataset_2d from run file object from
 IXTrunfile
 This doens't appear to have already been done. Needs to be clever e.g. if
 dataset1d output required then if 1xn or nx1 dataset2d in the runfile,
 then make a single plot, otherwise allow a given row/vector to be taken
 etc.

 Wht doesn;t plot work on IXTrunfile object?
