 The inevitable problems with making dxyz universal has reared it's head
 again - multiplot will not display co-ordinates at the correct z values
 (it wont grab the correct z values either)... This is down to the fact
 that you very rarely exactly click on the lines, so there's no surface
 intersected and thus NaN is returned
