Comment (by Dean Whittaker):

 (In [1152]) refs #119 - IXTpolygons now plots, converter from
 IXTdataset_2d included for easy comparisons. Note that get, extend etc.
 are not generic methods since this isn't based in Fortran, they've been
 specifically adapted for IXTpolygons.
