Comment (by Dean Whittaker):

 (In [1096]) addresses #113 -- no need for all the new files, managed to
 use strings to give commands straight to libisisexc, separate 1d and 2d
 templates are required since they act differently (though there is no
 reason why a more complicated combination of the 2 can't be used which may
 allow easier d2d + d1d etc. operations).
